"I love our new bathroom." - me, literally every time I walk into our newly remodeled bathroom.
The Garas team did a fantastic job coordinating the project. Ken and Jamie sent weekly emails on progress and next steps, so we always knew what was happening and who was at our house. Their sub-contractors did an excellent job keeping our house clean during the remodel. The Garas team was also patient with our many questions and changing our plans a few times. We would love to work with them again on a future project!

Im sure Garas probably does a decent job on their remodels. However, this company is adding a garage to our neighbors house, and in that time we've had a boring machine driven through our yard as well as bracings staked into our yard vehicles blocking the road and an overall mess directly next to our property. When I asked the employees working on the project I was met with argumentative and disrespectful responses. Im normally very understanding when it comes to these things and sometimes its what needs to happen. But if communication was better and I was made aware ahead of time and was shown respect for my family and my property then there would be no issue, but the attitude and lack of respect for neighbors and the surrounding residents can't be ignored.

Garas Remodeling helped us with a master bathroom remodel, and the whole process was absolutely WONDERFUL! Ken was very easy to talk with, he provided great suggestions and was very patient in answering our multiple questions; even the ones I asked more than once! His estimate was VERY reasonable and actually quite a bit lower than two other estimates we received for the exact same project. Any additional charges upon completion were from things we added after the reconstruction started, and Ken was very clear and upfront with us about the additional cost before implementing those changes. Ken personally stopped by to check on the progress almost every day, and he did an amazing job of letting us know who was coming to do the work each day/week. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Ken as well as all the licensed professionals he works with, and I absolutely LOVE our new bathroom! I highly recommend Garas Remodeling…you won't regret using them for your next remodeling project!

I selected Garas Remodeling for my kitchen project. This included replacing a solarium/sliding door with a three panel door with a transom window over the top. Ken and his business partners were excellent. They communicated really well, and any issues or concerns I had were directly addressed. I I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend considering Garas Remodeling for your project!

We completed a huge home remodel including lower level apartment, kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, and new windows, doors, and trim. Our home was brought out of the 70's and into the present with beautiful updates. Ken and Jaime were wonderful to work with. Their communication was excellent, and they completed the work on time and on budget. We would highly recommend Garas Remodeling and would absolutely work with them again in the future.

Garas Remodeling completely remodeled our master bathroom and made it into the bathroom of our dreams! This was our second project with them this year, and once again, they knocked it out of the ballpark! They are phenomenal to work with, from their organized planning at the start and great communication all through the project. We always knew what to expect! Their work was very high quality and we could not be happier with the outcome! We loved their personal touches that you only get with a smaller family owned business! We look forward to working with them on future projects!

It was a pleasure working with Ken and Jaime on our guest bath remodel. They excelled at communication both with their subcontractors and with us and were very reliable. They also were flexible in working around our busy schedules and home life. They take pride in their business and hired competent and careful people to do the work. We especially appreciated the assistance of Katye at Family Traditions and quality of craftsmanship from Shane at Iron Pine Cabinetry and Adam and Spencer at Olson Tile. We love our new bathroom and would use Garas Remodeling again without reservation.

We had Garas finish our basement which was a huge project that included excavating a portion that was dirt. Ken worked with all the appropriate people to ensure the job would be done well. We are so happy with the basement project that we are having them do our first-floor remodel! Great communication, great prices. Highly recommend!

Our 1950s house needed a new bathroom: Ken and Jamie delivered in spades! From their first visit to their last, Ken and Jamie were thoughtful, communicative, and did top notch work! We had a clear, very reasonably priced plan with no details overlooked, professional and highly skilled subs, great local partners: everyone answered our questions, had suggestions when we were unsure and took our ideas into account all while staying in budget. We couldn’t be happier with our bathroom and we can’t wait to give Ken and Jamie a call when we’re ready for another project. The best!

We recently had our two upstairs bathrooms renovated by Garas Remodeling and we are SO HAPPY with how it has all turned out!! Garas Remodeling is very reasonably priced without compromising on quality. (The bid we received from them at the outset was significantly less than other bids we had received from their competitors!) The vendors and subs they work with are all top notch professionals and each did a fabulous job on our project. Ken and Jaime Garas (the owners) were wonderful to work with, they were always accessible and involved every step along the way, stopping by frequently to see how the project was progressing. So if you are thinking of a renovation project, we highly recommend Garas Remodeling ☺️

We had our basement finished and Garas Remodeling did a great job! They explained the process and gave pictures of what it would look like. Their subcontractors were great too! Ken and Jaime came out often to see how the job was going. Would definitely recommend them!

I chose Gara Remodeling after getting 3 bids on redoing my deck. Ken, his wife, his carpenter, Shane, and crew were very good to work with. Ken was really easy to communicate with and was responsive. Before we started our project, we got bids. Most contractors could not start our project for 9 months to a year from the time we got our estimate. Garas remodeling was able to begin within 3 months of the estimate. Additionally, Garas was half the price of our highest estimate. We were a little apprehensive of choosing them because of these extreme differences. I am happy to say we have absolutely no regrets! The reason for the ability to start our project sooner is because Garas Remodeling does not overextend themselves. Ken and Jaime only commit to the volume of work that they can manage and are committed to keeping a close eye on the work of their subcontractors. Each day during the process they would stop in and check on the progress as it was happening or shortly after a contractor left and would follow up with an email on the process. Ken and Jaime have high expectations of their subcontractors and have even higher expectations than we did. Through the process I had questions or concerns and Ken was quick to answer with clear answers. We gave our budget and the ideas we had in mind. We became overwhelmed at times with options or choices and the businesses that they chose to do our work were so good about guiding us through this. Never did anyone try to upsell us and we kept the project within our budget. Ken and Jaime go above and beyond. An example of that is our appliances. We ordered those ourselves and there was quite a delay in getting our microwave. When I mentioned that to Ken in passing he said, “lLet me take care of that.” Impressively, he picked up our microwave the next day and it was installed the same day. He didn’t have to do that. He just cares that much. If you reach out to them for work and they say they turn it down, it’s not that they can’t. Timelines are important to them and they don’t want to overextend themselves realtime g in an unsatisfied customer. The Garas family truly are great people and I’m going to miss their daily check ins. I read a review where they were referenced as the Chip and Joanna Gaines of Rochester. I couldn’t agree more! We absolutely love our new kitchen!

We had an amazing experience working with Garas Remodeling while renovating two bathrooms with new countertops, showers, flooring, trim and paint. From picking out our products to personally introducing us to every crew member that would be in our home working on our project, Ken and Jaime go above and beyond with their attention to detail and a level of communication that ensures the whole process runs smoothly. EXCELLENT Service! Our new house didn't have a deck and knew we needed one once spring came. Ken and his team built the deck last December/this January. They just put the finishing touches on with a gate and lights. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and cannot wait for warmer days to enjoy the new deck!

Ken and team are very, very responsive and do a great job. He has many solid contacts throughout the area that are experts in their trade. We had a very complex bathroom project with a burst pipe in cement that they fixed when the large shops in town could not. Highly recommend and we'll be using them for future projects.

We contacted Garas for quotes on replacing our deck and remodeling our primary bath. Ken was very quick at meeting with us and getting us our quotes, he was also willing and able to work within our budget on both of these and the results are amazing and we couldn't be happier! Besides for all positive experiences with Ken which also included various phone calls with questions or concerns that he always promptly handled the project manager was great to work with and the subcontractors were awesome! Overall everyone was pleasant, respectful and did great jobs and myself and my husband would highly recommend using Garas Remodeling.

Ken and his team did a wonderful job replacing our deck and adding a pergola to it. Also, when we had an unexpected water issue in our bathroom, the shower remodel was taken care of efficiently and beautifully. We will definitely be contacting him again for projects in the future!
